Comments: Artist to Artist, Thanks for feeding my hungry eyes! Runes and I Ching are among my favorite symbolic systems also. I love the stylistic unity that connects all your pieces (I use the circle/mandala to do the same for mine)so that each contributes to the larger, richer body of the work as a whole. Your palette is unique and therefore refreshing. The accompanying text enhances the presentation by providing a thought provoking departure point for contemplation. You inspire me to make more time for the studio. Thanks for sharing your gifts.

Comments: Anne, Your paintings are wonderful! I''ve looked at every one on your site. And your text gives me a glimpse of the immense symbolic depth of each. I''m so happy that you are able to paint. And this site is beautiful as well. One painting appeals to a current interest, the transformation of a mortal to a goddess. I''ve been researching Homer and am beginning to feel that the Gods and Goddesses were a race of people, sort of like us, bigger, with very long lives, who could communicate telepathically. When dressed in armor, Athena looked like another large warrior, except that she was stronger. At the time of the Illiad, they were breeding with mortals; Achilles, for instance, was part god, part mortal. So were nearly all of the warriors who won the athletic contest. And so was Helen. I think I have located a Goddess mummy, in California of all places; 7 feet tall, with her baby, blonde, finely featured. I also have an idea of why they disappeared. Best wishes, Stu
